Agreement

These terms cover use of towardsingularity.tech, published by Vuelance. Using the site constitutes acceptance of them. Anyone who does not accept them should not use the site.

What this site is

TowardSingularity is an editorial publication. It reports public data about AI capability, derives a dated trend for each domain whose data supports one, and grades public predictions as they come due. The methodology page sets out every input, formula and judgement call behind those numbers.

It is a point of view expressed in arithmetic, not a measurement of fact. The choice of bar, the era a trend is fit from and the scale a measurement is fit on are all editorial choices. Reasonable people would pick different ones, which is why the site leaves them adjustable.

Not advice

Nothing here is investment, financial, legal, employment or policy advice. The readings and the forecast are not predictions to trade on, hire on, or set strategy by. Prediction-market prices shown on the site are third-party data, not a recommendation to take any position. If a decision matters, get advice from someone qualified and accountable for it.

Accuracy and availability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. The data is handled carefully and cited, but Vuelance does not guarantee that it is accurate, current or complete. Upstream sources revise their figures, change their methods, and occasionally go down. When one is unavailable the last good reading is held and labelled as such, rather than a fresh one being invented.

Some figures on the site are illustrative prototype values rather than live readings. Where that is the case it is labelled. Vuelance may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

Using the content

The site may be read, quoted and cited freely, including in academic, journalistic and commercial work, provided it is attributed and linked back to. Because every figure is dated, a citation should name a specific reading, such as reading · 2026-06-19, so the quote stays attached to the inputs that produced it.

What is not permitted is republishing the site wholesale, scraping it at a volume that degrades it for others, or presenting its numbers as original research. The site’s design, code and written analysis remain the property of Vuelance.

Third-party data and links

Source data comes from independent organisations including Epoch AI, METR, OpenRouter, LMArena, Stanford HELM and Manifold, each under its own terms. The tools directory links to third-party products Vuelance does not operate. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and Vuelance is not responsible for third-party content, availability or conduct.

Submissions

Submitting a tool, a correction or a prediction for the scoreboard confirms the sender has the right to send it and grants Vuelance permission to publish and edit it. Vuelance is under no obligation to publish anything, and may remove submissions at its discretion. Confidential information, or anything unsuitable for a public page, should not be submitted.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure,
• misrepresent a reading or forecast, for instance by quoting a number while stripping the assumptions it was produced under,
• use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone else’s rights.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Vuelance is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, or from reliance on any figure, forecast or grade published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vuelance is established, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

Vuelance may update these terms. The date at the top of the page changes with each update, and continued use of the site after that constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
